Where are you based?

Optical Print Direct is part of the MPress Solutions Limited group.  We are based in Lancaster, Lancashire.

How do I get a quotation?

To get an accurate, highly-competitive, quotation, simply provide your details and requirements on our Contact form and we aim to provide your quotation within 24 business hours. If you have special requirements or are looking for very large quantities, then please contact our friendly Customer Service Team on 01524 544649 or by email with further details.

What is the minimum order quantity?

You can order as many or as few as you wish. However, as with all printed products, volume discounts apply so the unit cost will be much less for large quantities compared to small quantities.  As all our products are bespoke and personalised to meet your specific requirements then there are set-up costs and these are the same regardless of quantity ordered.

How long will my order take?

Standard turnaround time for orders is around 12 – 15 days from the approval of artwork. However, if you have an important deadline date, then please let us know at the time of ordering and we will do all we can to accommodate. Alternatively, email or call our Customer Service team on 01524 544191. We will always do all we can to meet your requirements, although we are not able to offer a guaranteed delivery date.

Can I put a company logo or emblem on my bespoke promotional products?

Absolutely! Simply upload your logo or artwork file it at the time of entering your text. If there is a problem with the suitability of your logo or artwork we will contact you before production.

Depending on the type of logo or design different printing techniques may be most suitable.  However, our expert design team will discuss this with you before the order is confirmed.

Will my promotional products be a different colour to the digital proof?

Generally, different computer/laptop screens, Smart Phones or Tablets will display colours with slight differences. If you would like a specific colour (e.g. your corporate colours), please provide us with the Pantone or Hex and we will match this. No extra charge will be made for using your own colour choice.

I’m worried my artwork is not correct / is too complicated.

Please do not worry. We will always send you a digital proof before placing your order into production so you can be sure your design or artwork is suitable.  When processing your order our expert design team will be able to offer help and support on artwork and logo is suitability.  We have been printing promotional products for many years so we tend to know what works and what doesn’t!

How long does a digital proof take?

Proofs usually take between 24 working hours, depending on our workload.  However, if you need a proof urgently, please call our Customer Service Team on 01524 544191 and we will try and speed up the process if possible.

How do I confirm I am happy with the proof provided?

Simply reply to the email with your final digital proof with “I approve”.  Please note we are not able to obtain approval over the phone.

I Don’t see a colour I like, can I choose my own?

Of course. Simply enter your Pantone or Hex reference in the request box.
If we are unsure of the colour reference provided, we will of course contact you.

Can I track my order?

Yes. You can call us or email us quoting your reference number and as soon as your goods have been shipped we will send you the tracking number for our trusted couriers.

How do I place my order If I need to use an official purchase order (PO)?

Please provide your PO number in the details box. The PO number will then appear on the VAT invoice sent to you when you order is dispatched.

Can I pay by cheque?

Yes you can. If you would like to pay by cheque just give us a call on 01524 544191 and we will be happy to help you make payment this way.  Please note, we can only send your order to production once the cheque payment has cleared (other than for trade account customers).

Do you add VAT on checkout?

All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT (unless otherwise indicated). VAT will be added to the checkout price and clearly displayed on your final VAT invoice.

Will I get a VAT invoice?

A VAT invoice will be emailed to you on dispatch of your goods.

If you are a registered Charity, then please inform us of this in the requests box and provide your official Charity registration number. We will then refund any VAT charged in error.

What if I need to cancel my order?

We are able to cancel your order up until the point it goes into production (usually 24 hours from order).  However, as we supply customised and manufactured goods, it is not possible to cancel the order once the production process has started.

We would, therefore, recommend you carefully check your order details and digital proof and notify us immediately if you identify a problem.

What happens if I am not happy with my promotional products?

Please call our friendly customer service team on 01524 544191 and they will do all they can to help answer your concerns.  As the goods are customised and manufactured, we are not able to refund all orders. However, your statutory rights are not affected.

What do I do If I make a payment twice by mistake?

Don’t panic! Simply give us a call quoting your reference number and our friendly team will refund you immediately.

What happens if there is a mistake with my order?

If you are not entirely happy with your goods, please contact our friendly Customer Service team on 01524 544649 who will be happy to help resolve any problems encountered.

Can I get a discount for ordering large amounts?
